How we do it

Hosting

eduCog provides hosting services out of a data center located in Lansing, MI. All servers are fed with conditioned Uninterruptible Power Supplies that will run if utility power fails. In the event of an extended power outage, an on-site diesel generator can run indefinitely.

LON-CAPA Services

We are the premier hosting service for the LON-CAPA Learning Content Management System, with direct access to the MSU-based development team. Institutions are provided with unique URLs and a customized look and feel for their LON-CAPA online presence.

Custom Programming

We provide custom programming services, both for the modification of the open-source LON-CAPA platform, and for standalone applications. We work in open-source environments using standard free tools and libraries.

Textbook Publisher Services

We provide coding services for back-of-the-chapter problem libraries, as well as tutorials and test banks. Our particular expertise is in the area of science and math.

Service and Support

We provide LON-CAPA installation and support services both on- and off-site to schools and universities, including ongoing server maintenance.

Training

We offer on-site training and professional development for the LON-CAPA platform. Instructors providing training have experience teaching in higher education.
